BURRITO DELUXE/ STANDUP VELO

Ryan Conder on the Liddle OG Velo standup, Fat Bastard, Velo dimentions at 6'0'', the idea for this board came from Steve Hadley and Brian in Santa Cruz . They were trying to get a standup
style board like Velo.

Frame grab of Ryan Burch from the forthcoming film '' Temporal Collections....'' by Ryan Thomas, the 3 Ryans weird. Ryan loading up the single fin with the sidebites holding for less slide and more drive.

Hadley on the Fat Bastard . It's not easy to load up board and flexfin the way Greenough can on his knees, not to mention that his whole board flexed.

Liddle 5'10'' Burrito Deluxe

With the input from Hadley, Brian , Jdub and a few others these are getting tuned .

so is that template off a greenough spoon or made from imagination? is there some sort of connection there-between greenough and liddle? what's the deal anyway?

  5. The orange Liddle board is right off Velo just pushed to 6'0''same dims, then as we made more we pulled it in the tail just a bit and added sidebites for more drive . The connection of Greenough's designs is what Greg's boards are based on, displacement hull , flexfin combo, type surfboards to put it very simply. Look on Liddlesurfboards.com for more info.

Kp has been building boards in one way or another since the 70's-getting his start at yater's.(which is probably one of THE best places to learn the trade.)my suggestion is to visit his home, check out his inventory, let him tell ya a story or two, then figure out what you want and he'll get 'er done for ya.

sounds to me like you should go shopping at CI.
if you have to google greenough i see problems ahead.

there really should be a history/safety test a la DMV before you can paddle.
or at least at organized events like contests. i'll bet more than 50% of the ASP and 95% of the WQS do not know who George is!!!
as someone smarter than i stated, "History Is Not A Rorschach test"!

I don't really know much about Greenough the history and design of these boards, just like that other guy, but since i got my PG 4 months ago i've been surfing alot more and haven't ridden anything else. Been coming to swaylocks and KP's to learn more, just like that other guy.
