Just found out lastnite from Peter , Marcs brother that Marc was surfing Sewer Peak at Pleasure Point and got sucked back over the falls on a huge set and slammed the bottom on his butt and compressed his L- 1 to where it fractured or burst, he can move everything so thats great news no spinal cord damage, I will find out more today , so say a prayer for him please!

ReplyDeleteIm gonna fly upon fri, I will pass it along. They are gonna fit him with a full brace and see if he can stand up and not have the fracture move around, if so they may let it heal itself, if not they may have to do surgery to fuse it, will see. Thanks! to the female Dr. who was right there when Marc came up, and paddled him all the way to Privates for a n hour so they could rescue him.

ReplyDeleteSaw Marc yesterday and he's doin better, he even took a few walks with his brace and a walker. He's hasn't lost he sense of humor. I told him all you guys and gals were pullin for him, he might go home wed. or thurs.
