Innermost Fun

Got some fun small ones on monday, saw Mike Kew go by me like this on a few , funny how much Kew and a young  Bob McTavish look alike.

Shots takin from Innermost Limits of Pure Fun. I think this is one of the Keyes brothers who made Wilderness surfboards boards in Aus. before Mike Cundith moved over .

Chris Brock on the board witch has haunted us for many years.

Ted Spencer same type of board.

The surf was kinda blown outside but fun down low.

My new version of those boards , Marc and I really like these , fun and easy to surf.

  1. I should mention Warmjet got one on the Special K just like that shot of Chris Brock burned down the line like that for 100 yards.

Great movie, have you ever tried making a board like the one Bob rides in at the pointbrake(collaroy?)with Russel Huges, looks like an early tracker, widepoint a bit further up.

Regarding the scene and boards that inspired the Vaquero,I think thats Gary Keyes and not Ted Spencer. Still to this day have never seen any board cut past chop/whitewater and fly back into the pocket like that board!

    1. Depends on the flavor. Some like chocolate milk others like a couple of Tecates. Myself, I like water from a big gallon jar from the man across the road with sunshine in his eyes. "Oh the water, get it from a mountain spring" (Van the Man)
