The ID and Burrito Deluxe

7'0'' ID

Wide point back toward center

A bit narrower nose

I have the original plywood template it's over 35 years old.

These work great , can be surfed off the back foot a lot more , good for reefs and beachbreaks.

'One an unrelated note- what is the scoop on the second board up on current title photo 6/26/13? It is cool looking who shaped it and when? Captain Kirk?

Is it the board refered by scholars as "Baby" by G.G?

  5. It's a Aussie G&S shaped by Miget Farrelly around 1968 , the Plastic Machine / V- bottom era , It is not Baby surfboard that Greenough shaped which influenced McTavish, IMO to make some of the first short boards . I have tried to track down the Baby surfboard for 30 years , no luck so far , but you never know .

kp- post up a pic of one of the 7'9" v-bottoms. those are closer to what baby was than that farrelly one.

  8. "Baby" was in the hands of David Elfick and Alby Falzon when they were living in Carpinteria in 1972, shooting Crystal Voyager.

That was the last confirmed sighting of it...

  9. Hey PG , I remember surfing Rincon at that time and seeing the board being ridin by Alby a few times. I also was at this ranch a few years ago in Carpinteria my friend Graham was living at , and went thru a few old barns looking for Baby and I thought I was gonna get lucky , but no Baby , One of the great missing links in surfboard history.

That six foh burrito is all curves and lift. I'm pretty sure it's high run will consistently haunt a capable owner.
